A busy wet summer
Well, after the dry spell lancashire has done what it does best - rain, rain and even more rain. Sun isn't so much a natural phenomena up here as miracle worth writing to the Pope about. All over Europe everyone has been complaining about the heat and here we've been under grey skies getting dumped on every day. Mind you, good job really as we've been pretty busy and there's been little time for sitting in the sunshine with an ice-cool beer or six :-) Jay Blakemore has finally got some wondeful A2 size signed prints of his excellent dragons available and hopefully before long Ed Org will have some new goodies to make available to all you avid fans out there. As I look out the window I'm really glad of all the lovely artwork around us here at Artists UK as it definitely beats watching the rain come down in buckets! If you need a nice picture to cheer you up then why not go for trawl around our main website by clicking here.

Cool Summer but Hot Sale
Well, as usual the sun shined everywhere except in Lancashire over the summer and we did get a bit fed up with reports from all over from friends and relatives lying in the sunshine while we watched the heavens pouring it down. On the other hand, the Artists UK Krazy Summer Sale was roaring awayand lots of old customers we hadn't seen for awhile turned up to grab the bargains. Always nice to have our old customers back again. There were even a few from way back in the MAM days getting on for fifteen years ago!

It's really too hot and muggy to be doing this but the Artists UK Summer Sale has finally sailed off in a blaze of glory as usual and the orders are already pouring in, mainly from our old customers who get ready for this annual happening and know they can pick up some lovely popular items at discounted prices. There are loads of prints, posters, T-Shirts, books etc in the sale. If you'd like to join them then you just need to click here.

How many did he do?
Even after all these years I still see the occasional album cover by Roger Dean that I don't recall having seen before. Roger Dean did many famous covers for Yes, Asia, Uriah Heep, Greenslade, Budgie and many other bands in the seventies and onwards. How many? Who knows? Maybe he doesn't even know himself. If you are a fan opf Roger Dean or the bands like Yes, Asia or Greenslade or if you have no idea what I'm rambling on about and would like to see on the basis that a picture is worth more than a babbling blog then click here.

Alexandra Dawe - new prints
We've waited ages for these larger format art prints from rising new star artist Alexandra Dawe and finally, despite only being a few weeks away from having her first baby, the new art prints have arrived and stunning they are too! Her artwork has matured incredibly, probably due to all the film design work she has been involved in over the last few years. She is still early on in her art career so the smart money is on getting her early artwork now while it is still at good prices. Who knows, it could be the best investment you've ever made. The new art prints are on this link here. You'll need to navigate back from there using the "up" button at the top if you want to see the smaller art prints or use the other link to view and buy her original paintings and other artwork.
